“My mentor and I are mutually keeping each other lifted up in prayer and with encouragement in the midst of life's challenges. This mentorship connection has delivered extra focus for me by giving me a living example of what I desire to be engaged in upon graduating from Regent. Since I will be over 55 when I finish, my executive mentor demonstrates how there are decades of fruitfulness ahead of me and that completing this program is worth the rewards and open doors in the future.”
Wade Jensen, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2025 Mentee
“The focus on Christian values and principles adds depth to the whole area of organizational leadership … when you bring it into the context of the church, into the context of Christ working in us as leaders, then we are more able to take on the character of Christ in the leadership environment.”
Frederick Kawuma, Ph.D., 2016
“It will be the principles of servant leadership that I largely learned at Regent that I'll carry with me. These principles defined me as a corporate leader, and I believe they will define my political leadership.”
Scott Rigell, MBA, 1990 Former Representative of Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District; U.S. Marine Corps Reserve veteran; former owner of Freedom Automotive
“To the Big Four firm who insisted I'd need to drop out of my Regent doctoral program: I decided not to drop out. I completed my program (4.0 GPA), started my own firm and added multimillion-dollar organizations to my portfolio.”
Marissa Layton, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2020 Business Coach
“I spent four transformative years pursuing a doctorate in strategic leadership at Regent University School of Business and Leadership in Virginia Beach. This journey provided me with a deep understanding of leadership, combining secular and spiritual viewpoints. My studies into ethical leadership broadened my viewpoint, transformed my approach to leadership and decision-making, and encouraged me to amplify the essence of ethics to leadership.”
P. Ernest Parker Jr., DSL (SBL ’24)
