Regent University Wins Top Honors in the Coastal Virginia Magazine Awards
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (July 14, 2022) – Regent University was awarded Overall Gold winner as the “Best Private College/University” in the region according to the Coastal Virginia Magazine Awards 2022.
“Regent University is proud to be recognized as the Best Private University in our region,” said Claire Foster, Executive Vice President for Enrollment Services at Regent. “Accomplishments, like this one, bolster the commitment of our faculty, staff, and our graduates in making lasting impacts that go beyond our region and advance around the globe.”
Each year, Coastal Virginia Magazine asks its readers to nominate and vote for their favorite individual, group or institution from various areas of business. Nominees with high votes are selected to represent both the southside and the peninsula. However, the nominee that gets the most votes across the region earns the Overall Gold, as the best of the best in Coastal Virginia.
A celebration to acknowledge Regent University, and the other 2022 class of winners, takes place on Thursday, July 21, at 6:00 p.m. at The Founders Inn in Virginia Beach.
