Bio
Dr. Crista Glover is and always will be a Carolina girl at heart but has happily made her home in Coastal Virginia since 2004. This Greensboro native received her B.A. in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before moving to Virginia Beach to study counseling at Regent University. She graduated with an M.A. in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision. She is also a licensed professional counselor and has been practicing full time since 2007. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings but has a special place in her heart for university-based mental health counseling.
Glover’s clinical and research interests include burnout prevention, counselor wellness, and using movement and physical activity to promote mental health. She is also committed to counselor development through mentorship, clinical supervision, and Christian integration into clinical practice.
When Glover is not working, she enjoys reading thrillers, doing yoga, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her family.
