Yasmine Lopez, DNP, RN, CPN, CNL

Regent University’s adjunct professors are rigorously selected so that they help students grow in knowledge and faith. These professors, who teach on a contractual basis, must be dedicated to Christ-centered teaching and learning; have a record of or potential for academic scholarship; possess the ability to teach undergraduate-level and/or graduate-level courses, and embrace Regent’s Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.

Bio

Dr. Yasmine Lopez is equipped with a wealth of knowledge and experience in nursing clinical practice and academia. She has a clinical background in pediatric intensive care nursing and is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) and a certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL).

Lopez received her Master of Science in Nursing Education and Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis in Nursing Executive Leadership from Chamberlain University. She has diverse academic experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students in face-to-face classrooms, clinical, simulation, and online environments. She is passionate about equipping students to enter the specific nursing specialty God is calling them to.

Becoming a part of the team at Regent allows Lopez to speak into the lives of students, nurses in the clinical practice setting, and future nurse leaders.
