Bio

Dr. Kenneth Wantz is a proud native of Maryland and admires its state flag above all others. After a brief career in automotive mechanics and machining, he majored in Mathematics and minored in Engineering Physics at Eastern Nazarene College, a CCCU institution near Boston. Empowered by God’s grace and an excellent advisor, he earned a doctorate in Mathematics at the University of Delaware.

Wantz has taught mathematics full-time at a public institution in West Virginia and a Christian university in Oklahoma. In 2009, he took on the exciting challenge of inaugurating the Mathematics program at Regent University. Wantz resides in Chesapeake with his wife and two children, a daughter and a son, all of whom are excellent scholars. His interests include automotive repair, gardening, horseshoes and Rubik’s cubes.
