The 12-credit hour program offers busy teachers and administrators the flexibility to advance their careers while working full-time.*

Collaboratively and strategically evaluate, develop, and implement an ethical, systematic core set of values, knowledge, and skills that promote continuous school improvement and student academic success and well-being. Includes problem-solving techniques and change processes as part of a philosophy of educational leadership. Cross-listed with EADM 701.
Professional competence through engagement in recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining staff and professional learning designed to promote reflection, cultural responsiveness, distributed leadership, digital literacy, school improvement, and student and staff success. Includes human resources management, professional development models, evaluation, motivational change theories, and conflict resolution. Cross-listed with EADM 726.
Understanding school law and demonstrating the capacity to model and advocate professional, moral, and ethical standards for a safe, secure, and culturally responsive school community. Includes the identification and application of educational policy development at state, local, and school levels that promote the school mission. Cross-listed with EADM 728.
Collaboratively and strategically evaluate, develop, and implement culturally responsive, technology-rich, date-informed curriculum, instruction, and assessment for student learning and well-being. Includes student motivation, growth and development, social and emotional earning, differentiated instruction, multi-tiered support practices, and change management strategies for improved student outcomes. Cross-listed with EADM 745.

Prerequisites

The Certificate of Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership requires a master’s degree from an accredited university if applying for the 700-level courses; however, a bachelor’s degree is acceptable if applying for the 500-level courses.

Application Requirements

Step 1: Apply to Regent University

Submit your application using the Regent University Online Application.

Step 2: Submit Your Unofficial Transcripts

Submit your unofficial transcripts to regent.edu/items.

Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email requesting authorization for Regent University to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution. International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES, AACRAO or NAFSA approved agency.

Step 3: Submit Your Government-Issued ID

To ensure academic integrity, Regent University requires a copy of a government-issued ID. Please submit a scanned copy or photograph of it to regent.edu/items.
